Mindfulness Meditation
The art of being.
Mindfulness meditation is a form of meditation where we focus on the present moment and relax our bodies and calm our minds. We step out of automatic thinking and tune into our breath and our bodies. Some mindfulness meditation is guided and some is sitting silently for a few minutes. If thought comes in to distract we just observe the thoughts and bring our focus back to the present moment without being judgmental
Sometimes various mindful techniques with be interwoven within the therapy experience.
For those who are looking to go deeper in their mindfulness practices groups will be offered.
